Albert Weiss pronounces (Why-se) learned the basics of costume jewelry at Coro. His years of apprenticeship there helped develop a fine eye for details , and later served him when he opened his own store in 1942. A costume jewelry designer and a manufacturer, dedicated his design to hand set  piece exclusively. He managed to expand his business to Rhode Island, France and Germany.
