Artus Van Briggle (1869-1904) was born in Felicity Ohio, on March 21 1869, moved to Cincinnati in 1886. Apprenticed at Avon Pottery. Artus Van Briggle, painter and potter was settled in Colorado Springs in 1899. An American artist of Dutch descent, were established as a world class painter in Europe.
7" H. x 4" diameter. Excellent condition. Signed by artist, in flame mark. All indicated on the bottom of his artistic flower shape vase.
