Decorative and magnificent. Asian foo dogs, protective oriental lions, identical pair, are made of porcelain, with incredible gilt work. Cream, white, blue, terracotta, gold color skim. Painted with hands of artisan, in vintage period. Both with incredible condition, almost perfect, Marked, with multiple symbols, monogrammed,numbered. Each with different scripts, M8758-D & M8758-A. Also LZ 252 & LL 252, and stamps, indicating they are a pair. With likely signatures of the Artist.. Quite heavy, unknown origins, likely Japanese, may be Chinese, signatures are Oriental.. Perfect to display as bookends, statues, and in between.
