Glassware with one or more overlaying colors through which a design has been cut is called " Cut Overlay, and was made in America or abroad. Attributed to Stevens And Williams two magnificent cut overlay burgundy, red / amethyst/ ruby/Aubergine bowls/vases/tumblers/goblets. they are incredible, with cameo medallions, star cuts, flowers and open clear thumbs finger loops. in spectacular condition. they came from a hilltop establishment at charity auction more than several decades ago. one is lighter red, and the other darker, similar pattern (like eggplant) color note on the images.. 4" H. x 4.75" circumference, and 2.5" base diam.
